quests & history.
▶ Mair & Celegorm's Death
Following an audience with the Queen, Harry sets off for Mair with the intent to build a fairyring to supply the city with fresh troops and supplies. Following this, there is a battle wherein our young hero does not attack any Seelie, but he provides medical aid and an attempt at spiritual comfort.
▶ Eithne and Redgate
After his second audience with the Queen, Harry hurries towards the Woods of Eithne to meet up with Waver Velvet and from there on to Redgate. Once the dragon at the heart of the local mountain wakes up, he and Waver go into the mines to try and evacuate the miners and Harry is gravely injured. After Alyosha is brought back to the castle and they're both somewhat able to move about, they talk and Harry is given a token and named Champion of Redgate.
▶ Treun and The Midnight Court
After learning that there was a bounty on John and Bolin, Alyosha invited Harry to travel with her (in disguise) to the market town of Treun to attend The Midnight Court. Reynard made an appearance and killed Alyosha, but it didn't stick and after the whole damn building came down, they retired to the Fortuna manner while waiting to see if the Brucolac's attempt at infection worked. In the interim, Harry and Waver attended a meeting of The Covenant.
▶ Linnaea and the Road to Daonna
Following a month of research, Harry learned that one of the ways to hide a sigil was to do a complex ritual involving blood and chalk diagrams, thirty hours of chanting, and then negotiating with a spirit to bind it to him and convince it to inhabit the body of a dead crow. Deciding this was a fairly reasonable trade-off, Harry contacted Waver and the Brucolac and performed the rite at The Barrel.
The spirit, calling herself Linnaea, agreed to help him provided he feed her a few drops of his blood every new moon, agreed to honour the dead, and went to visit a series of shrines to her old gods. Which, natch, he agreed to and so off they went on a road trip where they ran into a quartet of travelling wizards heading to Daonna.
Harry had overheard them talking about Reynard, and decided that it would be wise to go with them, and see what else he could learn about the fox as well as magic in the Drabwurld in general. As a result of a chat with Ruby Tuesday, a delightful herbalist with a love of sea-turnips, he uncovered that there was an uprising planned and centred in Daonna.

▶ The Death of Reynard
Reynard is a jerk and decides that he wants to create his own court. To do this, he needs: all the sigils and a handful of shards.
Rules of combat state that by killing Alyosha at the Midnight Court, he owns whatever is hers - this includes the sigils buried under Redgate. Oh crap.
There's a whole lot of running around, hiding sigils, and trying to find out who can take one (Hermione), and who won't sign up (Thranduil).
During what was thought to be a lull, Linn begins to scream and melt. Turns out that Reynard and his magical daughter Severine are using Linn's bones to ressurect her as a Revenant. This is mondo Bad News and Harry gets himself in on the mess and calls in favours left, right, and center. Eventually, they sort something out and Linn becomes a Real Girl and not just a lovely Birb. It's weird.
Linn, Harry, and several others with sigils end up going on the lam, and on a boat, to avoid Reynard while they research how to kill him. Meanwhile, several other folks are off trying to get his heart - because he can't die for good unless they destroy that. It works! Mostly. Sort of. There were a few glitches with the sigil of Death and now Harry gets a deep, and profound sense of satisfaction upon killing. Sorry, JKR.Not Sorry.

▶ The Fall of Caer Scima
It becomes common knowledge that the Seelie are on the move, planning to attack Caer Scima and so the Unseelie begin to raise nine great towers. The Teeth. Harry does what he can to help build them, and ends up offering weaponry to Saber Alter.
The attack does come, but it's far worse than anyone anticipated because the Seelie (including Ridere) have access to a pair of sigils. Harry runs about, doing what he can to save people, and searching for Linn. Once he finds her, off they go to the throneroom just in time to see the throwndown between monarchs. He lost more than a couple SAN points. Just sayin'.
The castle goes down hard, but rebuilding is going to happen. With this in mind, Harry gets sent out to gather a memory of victory from every Unseelie shardbearer. That's a lot of weirdos.

▹ a large, blue-green gem given by Grell.
▹ broom, cauldron, and various other wizarding supplies.
▹ two wands: his own and the Elder wand
▹ a prosthetic eye made of red amber that provides certain magical benefits for a price:
- Harry can see in the dark, but retains a tapetum lucidum, like a cat, at all times
- If he is injured, the wounds will rapidly cover over with small, golden scales. The wounds take the same length of time to heal, but the scales are durable and difficult to cut through.
- If he is in a physical fight or in a period of high stress, he will transform to have claws and fangs. The Brucolac is a jerk and thinks this is hilarious. 'Milkteeth', indeed.
▹ fallen star in the shape of a large diamond
▹ crystalline magical reservoir
▹ silver token that makes his shard undetectable
